I love you Hawaiian Punch Clod. Here is a pic of my Sassy Chassis Clod. Still needs works, I have JPS rims with rc4wd tires so far. Still have to work on steering and putting in the electrics.

Right on Dan! I saw one of the new school monster truck races, and while it was cool to see some big trucks racing, the race sucked! It was over in like 5 seconds. That's hardly a race. I don't mind the lexan bodies on the track so much, but at least make the race interesting. Basically what I saw was a drag race with a U-turn in the middle.

Back to the truck. It has been updated and changed considerably. I sold the Tecnacraft wheels. The truck now has vintage JPS axles and Sees wheels. Also, not pictured here are a pair of East Coast Modifieds 14 turn single motors. I think that will give it some punch and keep with the vintage racer theme. I kept the Kyosho USA-1 tires because they are a bit softer than the Tamiya chevrons and I remember them being the preferred tire on MT racers back in the day.

Mugen and Dan, so you guys glue the tires to the aluminum rims? I don't think they use aluminum rims for racing but the beadlock rims might seem to hold the tires in place while racing. This makes me wanna get my Tamiya Big Boys out.

My tires are mounted but not glued. Not to sure if guy glue the tires to the aluminum rims.

I used to put elastic bands tightly around the rims so the rubber tires had something to stick to. but keep in mind doesnt stop side wall from coming off but unless your running huge power I never had a problem. I was too cheap to glue expensive tires to inexpensive (soontobe) broken rims.
Nice trucks guys I have had many over the years, died off over the years in these parts.

I glue my tires to my aluminum wheels, without glue the wheel would just spin inside the wheel every time you floored it or tried to get over something.

I wish. There were actually two flat black Juggernauts that I had. I sold the first one, regretted selling it, built a second one and then sold it. I'd love to have one of them back. The first one was the better of the two, but the second one was pretty awesome as well. I've been thinking about doing a third one.

I actually have a NIB GPM Juggernaut chassis in a box, and a very nice red Juggernaut body in another box. I've been seriously thinking about building another truck like this. They were a ton of fun. With the centrally mounted gear box, I would probably go brushless this time around. Maybe this winter I'll see about making Super Juggernaut #3.

This is the first incarnation of the truck. It was actually based on a TXT-1. This is it with the New Era tube frame. That was later replaced with a GPM Juggernaut frame.

Sweet collection Dan! I've always wanted a Sassy 6x6 chassis. If I could get my hands on one, I'd probably try to find one more JPS axle and convert the truck I have now into a stretched behemoth.

TamiyaDan, you got the same trucks as I do. Those hopup parts alone are getting rare and expensive. What I did with mine was put the new F350 complete body on it because it has rear light buckets and more lights up front. Nice nice collection.
