Yep, pretty much. I agree... But if you race, being competitive is a plus.scr8p wrote:They can do whatever they want with this newer crap, I could care less. They all look the same anyway.......

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...
I'm on board with the average reaction to the new stuff too...
I'm pretty sure this isn't related,..but has anyone else noticed the classic RC10 black chassis parts now stocked by Tower Hobbies?
Or is this old news?...
Let the DS & Team Car rebuilds begin!

Well that front end looks very different. Dare I say it's not just another I date to the B4 and more of a redesign. I'm liking it so far. We shall see once all the details are revealed.

Is it me or are the arms on buggies getting so long they look like trucks? Look at the gullwing shape to them, similar to the SC10B.... and the OG short arm '10.

You are right, pretty soon we will just have one center hinge pin with the arms dove tailed together...LOLlosiXXXman wrote:Is it me or are the arms on buggies getting so long they look like trucks? Look at the gullwing shape to them, similar to the SC10B.... and the OG short arm '10.
All kidding aside though, the longer the arm, the more rough stuff the suspension can soak up. Look at desert race buggies and trucks. The front arms are very close.

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...
I am sick of the reality TV gig where they keep suspense up until the last minute. Sure I know it causes people to talk but come on already. Three days of showing a little more and a little more.... Go ahead and wheel the thing out and tell us when they are available and the price. I am already expecting 299.00.

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...
Looks just like I expected so far-
a B4.3-
That's the same basic front end arrangement as the B4.2 minus the gull wing arms and revised tower. The front tower is attached the same, as it the bulkhead.
So far....fail

The body looks about the same width too, so it is not on a narrower (gold ano) chassis.

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...
Yeah, the longer arms hinged in the center with allow you to suck up the rougher stuff... but the modern tracks aren't rough are they? I'm not a racer, but all the tires now a days seem to be for hard packed surfaces. I guess the long arms could soak up the over sized jumps you see on the tracks now.Blacktiger355 wrote:You are right, pretty soon we will just have one center hinge pin with the arms dove tailed together...LOLlosiXXXman wrote:Is it me or are the arms on buggies getting so long they look like trucks? Not sure how much different or updated they could do from the current B4? Small tweaks, but all of the newer buggies look very much alike.

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...
I was pretty much thinking the same thing. Unless there is some serious redesigns to the back, I'm not very amused by the big production just for an update. Seems kinda silly.Charlie don't surf wrote:Tomorrows update...
