well i read a tread a few months back a guy hit hard times he thought sell his slots for about 8 grand on the bay and i think he got around 35 so i know they have crazy resale value

Yup! That was me!!! :mrgreen: Not sure we will ever see those high prices for Aurora cars again. I sold at a perfect time! What you see is the hundred or so AFX cars I saved and will never sell, one of each body type made. At one point I had about 2000 of the darn little cars. I still love racing my T-Jets the most!

Im an ASE certified auto mechanic and auto electrical is my thing. Im not really a grease monkey I dont get that dirty so I am more a wire monkey

I dig air cooled cars. I have owned VW bugs in the past and currently have a '75 Porsche 911. My step dad has a '98 Porsche 911, last year of the air cooled engines. He is a huge Corvair nut too. I am also a licensed aircraft mechanic and of course they are air cooled as well. Funny, I work on wind turbines and not on air craft though. :roll:
