Re: eastern nc
Anybody in the triangle area? I'm in Durham myself and am always looking for a new place to bash my BL E-Revo.

Re: eastern nc
There are a few of us here. I don't have any monster trucks or bash my stuff.... I'm an ex-racer, kind of a buggy-only guy. Well, maybe a race truck like a 10t,2,3,4 or an LXT one day...when I have all the buggies that I want.
EDIT:
I just made my way to the Traxxas forum and saw you TRX1. Great job so far! Are you going to run it? If so, we could probably get together some time and run. I am in Cary.
If you've read through this thread you know we had one get together last November, just three of us. I would like to do more of these type of things, with some informal racing - not just free-for-all running. Sound interesting? I know since that last meet, 2-3 more guys from the triangle have joined 10talk, so it's possible we could get a group of 4-8 people out, I think..
Hey Charlie - do you think Dirt Oval on a swept softball field could be fun? I know you were a dirt oval guy in a past life, right?
EDMs, Sprints, or Late models? ( I think I'd prefer the EDM and/or Sprints personally.)

Re: eastern nc
I do not plan to run my TRX1 much at all. She will be a queen only driven on basketball courts and parking lots. I do have a used one on the way (it came with some NIB stuff I needed, and a body in excellent condition). I do not know if I want to keep it or sell it. So I may have a used one to run. We shall see.
Also, I only have 3s lipos. If I did run the used buggy, I'd need to get some extra batts. My TRX1 project is gobbling up my rc fund ATM.
I'm up for a get-together! The earlier I know when it is, the better for me! (need to request off for work). I love jumping and have a few bike ramps I can bring.

Re: eastern nc
Does anybody have a good dirt location in mind? I've got one that I bash at here and there, buts all grass and little 1/10 buggies won't do well there.
