Im bringing the rc10t i just picked up for $10 bucks on craigslist. Im rather proud of this one. I think im going to mount up the skinny fronts and toss them on. Maybe someone has a t body to bring for bst? Just wishful thinking.
Sorry to hear that Joey. I contacted a guy whos supposed to be bringing a bunch of old losi jrx2,xx,and other old losi stuff along with a couple of B chassis rc10 team cars for bst. Hes really hurting for $. Hes just looking to get what he can for the stuff. You would have really liked this opportunity.
Looking forward to the next vintage meet up this coming monday, may 13 at 7pm at the world famous OCRC In beautiful Huntington Beach. Hopefully, everyone will be able to attend. Dont forget to bring your unwanted rc related items for bst. Hope to see you there!
Had a great time tonight. Thanks Mike for that fresh,in the bag, mint 6122 T body and hooking up my T2. Its fast and handles great!! And thanks Moe for that sweet JRX2!! Nice score on that 10T too Mike. The mexican food after the meet was the best. I cant believe I ate two of those carne asada burritos. I guess Moes gonna be bringing some old Associated pan cars and parts to sell at the next meet. Cant wait!
I am an AE guy at heart. But when cars are selling at ridiculous prices,Im down for a bargain. Dont forget,I do have a beautiful, new build XXTcr that I wasnt too crazy about at first, but it grew on me......Like a fungus. This JRX2 came with some gnarly sand paddles, just begging for a trip to the beach.
We welcome anything vintage. Associated,Losi,Kyosho, whatever. Its all good!! OCRC has a more laid back attitude than WC. OCRC welcomed the idea of having us vintage guys with open arms. Weve also gotten to know a few factory drivers that we hang out with at our meets. Youre more than welcome to come and hangout with us at the next meet in two weeks. After coming to our meet at OCRC,Im sure youll have second thoughts about going back to WC.
I’m in the process to organize a vintage meet in Sweden this summer, and I want some good advice as an organizer! I have been in the organizing comity in several meets before, but never in a vintage meet. I understand that many of...
