Anyone receive one of the #6309 nose plates yet? I see some of the stock photo's for these show the V shaped back and some show the earlier square type.

Yep. I just received one this week and it's the World's version. It'd been on backorder for a long time. I was hoping it would be the squared off version as I had a re-re team car build in mind. Oh well, guess I'll just have one of the goldies anodized.slotcarrod wrote:As far as I have seen, this is true!scr8p wrote:i could be wrong, but i don't think the black squared off nose plate ever became available for purchase. they were always pending.

A main shows the worlds. Active powersports shows square. Both places in stock. Was hoping for a square version also

Re: Part Differences - Old vs. New
you can get a black rere tub (not milled) though. i wonder for how long..... maybe i should grab one before too long.
i wanted to build a rere team car as well. i guess if i gotta reano a squared off gold nose, i can just reano a gold tub too.
now, tim just needs to get on those white wide track front arms.

This was updated to the trimmed nose plate so that the part number matches the original. It was also done out of the assumption that more people would prefer the trimmed nose plate over the non trimmed if they were to get a black nose plate. So this helps reduce the number of nose plates we need to stock, especially since the trimmed one has been more desirable.

Re: Part Differences - Old vs. New
Quick question for you guys that already have your Worlds car kits. Is the chassis letter stamped or blank like the re-re gold pans?
Thanks
Thanks
