Matt Francis 1995 World Champs RC10B2 Replica Project

Post by kenooze »

Yes, I'm in my Matt Francis period.

Don't worry, I have not forgoten the 1993 Kinwald replica, but due to some difficulties with the right Carbon fiber plate of the rear tower, and about the machined motor plate, I work on some extra project until the missing parts.

This is my starting documents for this project.

The rear end fit the original 2 holes rear arms and the 3° Toe-I, and 3° Anti Squat, with 0° Toe-In hubs, and Short wheel base with white spacer.

The MIP CVD's fit a rear Half right suspension.

Now, both half rear suspension fit the rear lower aluminium plate.

Yes I know, the B2 Pre-Production used during the World Champs fit the RC10 Tub Chassis Stealth Transmission.
I'm in research of the plastic parts linking the chassis to the top of the gear box.
So for the moment the car was build with a standard B2 gear box and motor plate.

Nice!

It's nice to see another B2 fan posting a clean build.

It's one of my favorites.
Projects and shelfers:
Late Edinger, RC10B2, Dual Sport, GT, Kyosho Turbo Ultima, Triumph, Tamiya Sand Scorcher, Blackfoot/Monster Beetle, '67 Beetle, Nikko Rhino, Traxxas Fiero, Slash, Hand-built Dune Buggy..all on here somewhere...

The B2 that you are building looks realy good but if you want to
build your car exactly like Matts worlds prototype car you will
need to fit an original stealth gear box because the B2 box wasn't
ready for the 95 worlds.
