Thanks! Its really worth a lot than my age. The paint scheme was inspired from Frank Masi review of the Cougar2 Works in RCCA Magazine!
With the use of cotton swabs for the splattered white paint matching Metallic purple spray can and the hard part was the pin stripes and masking checkered design.

BTW it was all sprayed in rattle cans Tamiya PS.

AWESOME! The Cougar2 is still one of my all time fav's and the works is by far the coolest of the bunch. Very cool seeing these pics up here and the paint scheme looks very much like that reveiw car in RCCA-its a real credit to you.
Question- Why does your works not have the ball raced steering and the alloy roller driveshafts?

Well that was i noticed before, why my works doesn't have those gizmos! And it's a hop up issue, Maybe it depends on country to country! I bought my Cougar2 Worx in Stormer Hobbies USA. And the Cougar2 Worx of my friend bought in Hong Kong got those goodies.

Anyway, i still love this car more than my wife! Believe me, i can beat all those RC10's and XX's back then with my Works cat.

I only ask about the ball raced steering as Ive seen other Works Cougar's being sold without these in the past. Ive owned 3 of these cars and still have a runner and shelfer. I couldnt bare to part with either now.
Yours still looks so cool-

The last time i raced this Cougar2Worx was mid of 2007 with the touring cars, funny the cat running so wild on 3 wheels when it turns. What more if i use BL motors and High end Lipos.

I shipped all my vintage cars back home last January 2009 and planning to buy some vintage Yoke's and ZX-R's like what i saw on this forum.

Here are some photos of the Cougar 2000, regards to Steve and Tim.....

That Cougar 2000 is one slick looking car. I bought one back in the day and switched from Associated, but never couldnt get it set up for the life of me. I ended up getting impatient, selling it and switching back to associated. I wish I still had it today...
