Hello, my name is Todd. I'm from Northeast PA.

Thanks to Melvinsarmy for steering me to this site.

I started out on oval with my brother Joel in an old school gym run by Marshall's Hilltop Hobbies, running Fox's and Falcon's. Later, when Marshall's got his own outdoor dirt oval, Joel switched to RC10's which I could not afford so I went with the Traxxis Bullet and dabbled with a little carpet with a Bolink pan then a Bolink Legend. Also tooled around with a Kyosho Raider and a Futaba FX10. Got out for a while but then got the itch and picked up an RC10B2S and REALLY got in deep with a RC10B3FTW with extra goodies from RPM, HG, Robinson, LRP,.ect. Only ran maybe two sticks thru the B3 when family obligations made it a shelf queen.

Fast forward about 10 years and I find myself working for the DoD and getting deployed to Baghdad. I hear thru the grapevine that on base there is a Baghdad International Raceway. So I forward shipped the B3 and the B2 (for spares).

So here's my "Old Soldier" doing battle out here in Baghdad with B4's, B4T's, SC's, and nitros:













Last two pic are of our track.

As for the "Old Soldier", anybody know where I can get another Worlds wing for him? I've got the B2 one on him now and that's dying. Military server blocks ebay and it's a PITA to get on the MWR computers. And I ain't posted enough to shop here.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for serving! That is one sweet "Old Soldier" you have. The wing you are looking for is going to be very hard to find. As far as I know, it only came with the Deja Vu Tu body, part # ASC6154. There is nothing wrong with the B2/early B3 wing for downforce part # ASC6182. but if you want that modern look, you could use a B4 wing, part # ASC9666. You should be able to order both from Tower Hobbies. http://www.towerhobbies.com/

Yea, It gets plenty dusty. Sometimes to the point you can't see the back strait.

We try to keep it watered down but that mud sticks like concrete and it's bone dry half an hour later.

Isn't the wing for the 1994 Worlds car and the B2 one and the same #6182. At least the manual shows that number, maybe I'm missing something.

IIRC, the B3 Worlds kit was a lower rear shock mount, Deja Vu Tu body, and a wing that attatched to the wing wire AND the rear body post.

Thanks, it's holding its own considering the class it races in is a 2WD Open. Last weekend there was even a Schumacer Cat which thankfully blew its belt.

Got to drive a Losi 8ight brush conversion last weekend. Must. . . resist. . . urge. . . to buy. . . new school. . .
