Paddle tires
Hey people. Im new to this forum so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right spot. What I am looking fore is some paddle/sand tires that will fit either the origonal 1984 rc10 rims or the rims from a graphite rc10. I have only ever raced rc10's and have so since the mid 80's and am just getting back into the hobby. I have not been able to track down any new paddles so any help with a part # that I can buy would be a big help. The car will be a vw baja scaler.

Re: Paddle tires
You might be asked to go back and read the rules when it comes to selling/wanting stuff. The mods and members are tired of people joining up just to hunt down or flog off stuff. If you want to gain access to the BST section there is a minimum post requirement before the mods will let you trade on this forum. Its worth the trouble I can assure you.
Perhaps you could post some pics with a description of your current project, past projects or any other way you feel you might contribute to other members on this forum. You'll soon find there is a true wealth of knowledge to found amongst this forums members wether it be vintage AE or any other manufacturers. In the end any one who truly is a vintage buff ends up finding their way to this place.
Good luck- Jason.

Re: Paddle tires
the closest thing your gonna get to paddles anymore would be the tires for the grasshopper.

you should be able to fit them to the original 3 piece rc10 rims. any other type of paddles, your best bet is searching ebay.

Re: Paddle tires
i was kinda torn whether to move this or not. he didn't really ask to buy any from someone here. he asked if someone had a part number of paddle tires so he could track some down.

Re: Paddle tires
I don't think this applies to your classified section. All I was asking for was some advice in choosing the right tire for my rig.Iwas not looking to by anything from any one here yet. I diden't realize that it was inportant to to have 25posts to just ask for part numbers. If that is the case I won't be back

Re: Paddle tires

"old paddles" were made by duratrax/tms, those were the single paddle style, and proline made a staggered paddle for buggies also. unfortunetly every time they come up on ebay, they are really expensive.
Grasshopper style paddles are the only "readily available" paddles i know of, and they are weak paddles.

Re: Paddle tires
Calm down the 25 posts is a requirement because if there was no limit to gain access to BST this place would be flooded with people asking questions..and remember it takes somebodys time to answer your question they don't have to give you that..illshou wrote:I don't think this applies to your classified section. Re: Paddle tires
I for one would not hesitate to take the time to answer someones questions. The rc10 I have has nearly all period mods, andy's arms, trans outdrive bearings, ballbearing steering bellcranks ect.....I just need to track down some more period pieces. I'll try and post some pictures but i'm not very computer smart.....
