you off someone for them, get a good deal, or pay out the rear? sweet fine in that condition. do you have other parts to start with or are the tires the starting point?

LOL - no crime involved, but I did get them for a pretty good price. I have everyting I need to get started on the restore now except for one of the fiberglass battery straps. I may make a repro of one to hold me over until I find an original.

I'm sure it will be killer when it's finished. Good luck.

They aren’t NIP, but mighty close - maybe a lap or two at the most. No rot or cracking and still nice and pliable.

Thanks. Most of the parts are on a car I picked up on eBay a while back. The chassis has some extra holes in it (side), but it's in pretty good shape otherwise, as are the rest of the parts. I haven’t opened up the shocks or transmission yet, so I’m hoping they'll have the early “innards” as well. 8) Once I get all the parts broken down, I'll start up the build thread.

Here are a couple of the eBay pics of the car:

Lovely, I've been wondering if it isn't possible to make a silicon mould of these tires and then cast some copies out of a two pack rubber resin.
