There's a few funny stuff like the diff spacers. Is there any other reasons why the transmission brace was cut out, other than loosing 3 grs?

Btw Templeofspeed., they mention RCPS Ti turnbuckles also... Maybe they had an other car between hands?

Kenooze, do you know anyone who shoot some pics in UK 1993?

J'allais oublier, merci pour le scan ! 8)

Anybody notice how big the front axles were on kinwald's car? Also RCPS made two styles of titanium turnbuckles. The ones on kinwald's car are the second version and similar to the factory team blue turnbuckles that associated sells today (before they put the groove in them). RCPS was started by cliff lett who works for associated to this day and when he ended his "side" company, Associated pick up his turnbuckles and slapped some blue on them. Sorry for all the info, I know many of you already know this.

First run Associated FT turnbuckle style similar to RCPS, but blue:

Current Associated FT turnbuckle style:

Excerpted from http://www.realrc.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=395

"Many note that Brian has not attended a major race in about a year. Brian was stricken with a rare intestinal disease as a teen. Doctors are not sure how it is contracted, and there is no cure at present. Brian’s diet is restricted, and as a result of the disease and the necessary diet, he suffers periods of very low energy.

Changes in his medications over the last six months have led to Brian feeling better now, though not yet up to the rigors of the typical US 6-day marathon of 14 – 16 hours days at a major race. "

wow

when i first saw that pic of BK, i thought to myself, "that looks an awful lot like Prednisone swelling".... I KNOW that look.

my bet is that he has a form of IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease), either Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease, both of which are HORRIBLE diseases.

my heart goes out to Brian.

There is a good thread talking about the gold finger kid (rctech.net) beeing sponsord by X-Factory. It is funny to read how guys can goosip like chicks till you have a very clear and calm answer from the R/C idol. The thread take suddenly an other form... for less they would start kissing each other !

I could be great to get in touch with the Pro. He might leave some words here around... .

I did not take the time to read it all again but I think it is this one:

Also...If someone has another article or any more info on the extremely interesting traction control systems of LRP and the other racer mentioned in the RCCA 93 Worlds coverage it would be greatly appreciated .Isn't it a magical coincidence that Electronic aids seem that was banned around the same time a similar ban involving active suspensions happened in F1?Great times...

Also towards God-Kenooze and British readers, there is an extremely detailed article on Masami's 93 Worlds Proto by the British Radio Race Car I can vaguely remember and will make a double killer with the RCCA article above...
