Schumacher Fireblade Evo
So I was able to pick up a pair of these. One new build with box and the other is a runner. What info do people have on these? Parts availability? I really just wanted the New Build but will need to find a body. Any help on info about this car or parts would be great! I'll post pics as soon as they show up

Re: Schumacher Switchblade Evo
If you check out Schumacher's website site there is a section there for the older models which still have parts in stock. The Fireblade evo shells are still available from the last I heard.
I have a Cougar95team if you are wanting to complete the collection.

Re: Schumacher Switchblade Evo
I know RETRO R/C used to race the Fireblade but not sure which model. He liked the car and it looks good enough to be a contender. Its always down to the driver and sometimes the support given by the race teams at times.
I cant remember Schuey's web address but try google Schumacher RC or something.

Re: Schumacher Switchblade Evo
I thought the Switchblade Evo was a Trinity onroad pan car..... as Jason has alluded to, Schumacher produced the Fireblade Evo...
I think the Fireblade Evo was the last competition spec 2wd buggy from Schumacher...... must be good, they haven't seen fit to replace it as yet......
Course, that could be just me grumbling......
Schumacher website: http://www.racing-cars.com/ - Jason, you should have that in your memory next to your missus' birthday!!!

Yeah you might want to look up the U.K. side. There should be stuff still available from them over there.

Re: Schumacher Fireblade Evo
Well I got a new shell, wing, and decals on thier way. That should be all I need for the New Build to get the box art done. I'll have to see what shape the runner is in and probably put in another order.

Re: Schumacher Fireblade Evo
There were 4 types off fireblades.
The fireblade2000 and fireblade USA , these had same body as the cougar95T(94SPC)
And the fireblade EVO and EVO2 , these ones had a different body.

Re: Schumacher Fireblade Evo
Jeroen Im glad to see you back up here again.
If I may correct you, I think there was a Fireblade 2000 which had a body that was a little bit like the Cougar 95 team but a little less appealing in my opinion. I had 3 of them at one point.

The fireblade EVO came out in 1999 , and EVO2---001 , just a redesigned chassis plates and shocktowers , all the rest stayed the same.
I can sent you the exploded views if you want Alex.
Yes ,there were three different bodies fireblade 2000 (U5059) USA (U5064) and the Team 95 and SPC (U5045).bormac wrote:Jeroen Im glad to see you back up here again.
