Finally scored a Worlds car.

Post by blown5.0 »

While its not complete, I still cant believe i got this for $70 shipped.
Its missing rear wheels and tires, battery strap, and body.
I have a battery strap NIP, and a set of rear wheels and tires that will work.
The body I will have to get a Mirage from Mr. Lex.
Should look great after a thorough cleaning, the guy said its been sitting in his closet since '96. I do not recall seeing any worlds cars that were all black plastic, is this one of the last ones with all black?
As received.

Fancy! :D
JRX2 in the late 80s... have since come to my senses with the RC10T, yes of course it's vintage! Wife is always destroying her Tamiaya LunchBox to call me her personal mechanic a few more times. Enjoying the fresh build of an RJ Speed Digger.

I found the car on Rctech, I plan on tearing it down and giving it a good cleaning and turning it into a shelfer. Would not think of running this car, they are way too hard to come by and this one is almost perfect.

Excellent score! It looks in great condition, doesn't look like its ever been used? I got my Worlds car for a bargain price too... but mines a proper project, I'm building mine into a runner, I don't think I could bring myself to run a Worlds Car that was as nice as yours.

Lucky dog! I saw that one and I was too late. At least it went to a forum member. I was afraid I'd see it again on ebay for $300 or something.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

wow, that is a great looking car. Very lucky find. Definitely going to make a nice shelfer with minimal effort.

Very nice Worlds you have. It's such a good feeling when you get a good deal!

I need pictures of an all black Worlds, can I use your pictures in my 25 Year thread?

Cool, I only need one good picture from the side (like the last one you posted). Just to show the black plastic. I will use this one now and change it later when you send me new ones.
