Team ' RACE PREP ' 1980's AYK Pro Radiant, Boost etc..????

Just thought i'd get a post up here for anyone who might have any info on the DUNN brothers and/or the old Race Prep team from California. If anyone has any paint scheme's, pics of cars or any other information of relevence to this team please add it to this thread.

Mike Dunn's Pro Radiant fitted with a 'lip stick' video camera back in the lead up to the 1989 Worlds held at St Ives/Sydney Australia.
The TV sports network 'WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS' mounted the camera to creat a birds eye view of the track and other cars in action. When I work out how to add the footage I will have to get it up here.

This Pro Radiant was owned by Woober Goober and has now passed hands to my good friend Paul here in Australia. Im led to believe this was infact one of the Team cars used by the Dunn brothers.

A couple of ads I discovered when trying to find more useful information for PRP as his Dunn tribute is great fun. PRP to complete your project you will have to dress like the Dunn's also :

Thanks for the help with info on Race Prep guys. Here's a pic of Mike Dunn's Losi from the FLORIDA WINTER NATIONALS. It seems these boys were a real force to be reconned with. Mike got 1st place with this car in 2WD modified while Steve took 5th place with his AYK Pro Radiant.

Nice , Ayk Viper maybe you can make a scan of the ads, I found nothing on the RCCA archives , all the ads are scrash from Race Prep and Sanyo.
And for the dress, the short can be possible, but the T shirt it's more hard

I will have to organize a scanner to get better quality as the Pro Radiant pictured is about 1 inch wide in the ad...will happen down the line...hope this helps for now...

As for the Race Prep monster truck conversion...who knew?...everyone was doing a conversion kit from mids and yokomo to 4wd truck but I think this is a bit of a rarity/oddity.
