radio problems ?

Post by rctenracer »

I have a losi bk2 runner that i put together. I am using a futaba T2PHKA radio, novak XXL am reciever with a futaba 75 mhz channel 67 crystal and a novak 410-M5 esc. Also using a new stick pack battery. The radio and battery are charged correctly. I down loaded the insrtuctions for the esc from novak and adjusted the esc correctly. All components are hooked up correctly. The motor is a tamiya dirt tuned (new). When I turn on the power switch for the esc the steering servo goes crazy. I unpluged the steering servo and try the speed control and it works fine. WTF am I doing wrong. Trying to use what I have on hand. Is the esc junk. Here is a pick

Can you be a little more specific about the crazy actions of the servo?

Also, make sure the servo is in position 1 in the rx and the esc in position 2. Lastly, be sure that the power, ground and signal wires are all in the correct location.
