Kyosho Fan
I'm a bit of a Kyosho fan secretly...
Amongst my other bits are two of my favourite cars. These are the Optima Mid and Lazer ZXR (my no.1 ever RC).
The Optima is the pro spec alu-chassised car (so I thought you'd alu tub fans would like it!). New Built and in Very good condition for it's age.
Lurking behind it is the object of most of tomstacey's affection, my race Lazer ZXR(S). I race this oldie indoors in our local class and it's still going strong after 15 years! I have no fears about running it as i have enough spares to build about 6
This car is currently undergoing transformation into a James Instone replica ZXR(S) with narrow chassis, ZXS shocks, ZXS Steering and TF-5 rear hubs amongst just about every hop-up for the Lazer series. I'll get some chassis shots when the rebuild is done, I think it's pretty special, I hope you like it too.
(Just waiting out for a ZXS Shell to fit the ZXS replica chassis)

Who was that? I prolly bought some stuff off him!!RichieRich wrote:Yeah, nice cars. I'm restoring a Turbo Optima SE at the moment. It's coming along pretty nice. Thankfully, I've run across some good deals. For a while there, everyone went nuts on ebay buying wayyy overpriced stuff from a single seller. Crazy.
I've been doing a bit more work on my Lazer ZXRS in preparation for next seasons indoor racing series.
God knows how many mods it actually has now, its very different from stock though now.. i'm still planning some other mods like associated ball ends and balls on the suspension and maybe associated shocks.
Anyhoo, pictures tell a thousand words

In the meantime, I've fitted the shell and undertray to the ZXR(S). It isn't sitting right at the back in these photos (its to high). By the time I fixed it though, the sun had gone in so no more pics!!! I counted up the original ZXR parts on this car earlier, excluding turnbuckles and ball ends, about 7 parts were in the original box!
