Pics of my work space

Post by Seabass »

Hey guys I have been meaning to post some pics of the machines I have been using to make all the parts in the recent past.

Cummins Tool 7 x 12 lathe

Harbour Freight Mini Mill

Enjoy the pics. Excuse the missing doors from the bottom cabinet. I never made the doors (One day....)

Trust me I make a complete mess with these things. Usually I have no room left on the bench. I cleaned up about 4 weeks ago and made a commitment to put things away when I was done. I recently got the yellow tool box as well so I have much more room to keep things readily available while still keeping things in order.

It would be nice to take the machines to the neighbors house but it would be more work just trying to move the machines then move them back. Maybe I should mount the machines to a table with casters. Great idea Halgar.

I know how it is to work in a confined space with minimal room for both work and storage, it is a daily battle around here. I've got a full cabinet shop set up in my garage. Not only do I usually have a dozen projects going at any one time, I usually have to clean up and do projects that aren't on the list just to make room for whatever I'm supposed to be doing.

Say, I don't suppose I could borrow YOUR garage.

That garage is sweet and the RMZ is even sweeter! Love the yellow and black tool boxes, you should get some custom Suzuki decals for that!. You make some nice rc stuff with those tools!

ps: Don't let Halgar get anywhere near your garage!!!!!!
