Nose Tube Material?

Post by RCveteran »

Are the nose tubes just 3/32" aluminum tube? I can't justify the cost they go for.

KS is available at any good hobby/train store too. I've even seen it at some good old "real" hardware stores.

Oddly, Chicago with 4 million people is a hobby shop vacuum. Have to go to suburbs and the local hardware store that used to have the KS stand finally got rid of it about a year ago, I think I was the only one who used it

all you need now is a tap and dye and you can make all the extra nose tubes you need :).

Now if we could only find out the gauge of the aluminum sheet used for making the tub chassis.
