RPM ebay win

Post by Synergy »

I don't know what this is going to be like when it arrives but the BIN was to good for me to miss, is there a chance there might be a stealth in it :?: This was some of the description,

"chassis on this has been drilled to lighten it for better performance" :( "and it will soon require a new rear shock tower as the one fitted has been repaired" (will a standard CE tower fit :?: )

"the rear wing that comes with this is painted to match the shell not the clear one pictured!!

has carbon front tower and lots of rpm parts including arms and chassis"

There might be some stuff on it I can use if it's un-restorable.

geez, there's already nothing to that chassis. how much lighter did he think he was gonna make it?

it should have a stealth in it, though.

That works for me :D there might be some rpm stuff in the BST soon

Just to keep the record straight I don't think the seller drilled it, I think it was a previous owner.

what chassis are you using for a runner that you needed a stealth for? looks to me that you'd have a pretty good rpm runner. tear it down, clean it up, and run the crap out of it. :)

I need it for a Sollins scorcher copy  so I don't think this chassis will be any use, I've got a couple of tubs I can use.

I will see what it's like when it lands, if it's not a shed I might tidy it up and keep it on the shelf so it will have to be nice, I'm not a big one for runners I only have three, Wild Dagger, F350 and a Rex-X and soon a RC10 Scorcher, I'm usually too busy with planes to run cars

I also won a complete RPM ultraz molded chassis that really has all the bits (rear tranny brace, shock towers...) it seems in really good condition, nothing dyed... I'll post a pic of it as soon as I receive it... they are pretty rare, that's the second time I see one on Ebay and second time win!!! The previous one was dyed black and parts were missing so I sold it to a japanese guy a few weeks later, now I've got a WHITE one, I'm so happy... so FERETTI, keep that thing alive and don't part it, you'll find a Stealth WAY easier than that complete (drilled  ) RPM chassis... by the way, does anybody knows what body it wears? :D

At the risk of a roshambowin  an RPM car was never in my collection plans, so I don't realy want one  but I do want a trans for my Scorcher build and this was a cheap BIN. We will see in a couple of days what it's like and decide what to do with it. :?

This car belongs to guy i bash with (Monty). Can't say I've ever seen it, but he doesn't tend to buy or sell crud, so you should be ok Feretti. :)
