HI!... Well I met up with a guy selling 4 RC-10's today. Was about 4 hours away but he met me half way. Anyway this is what I got off of him. From what I can tell they are :
This one is a bit rough. The owner before the guy I bought it off of went a bit drill happy on the chassis. Shame. I'm going to strip it to the tub and get a buddy who is a excellent TIG welder to fill them in and I will sand and restore it. A bit of work but I don't want to scrap it. I want to see if I can save it.
HI!... I also got a assortment of spare parts. Some are still new. And I got a NIP body for a #6163 "SPRINTER" #1????? lol! If anyone has info on the body, please fill me in.
I dont have any info on the sprinter body but it is in the back of the catalog that comes with the kits. I also have one and have never seen another for sale:) And since it doesnt have any windows in it I may try to make a fiberglass replica for a couple of my cars.
Let me know how that weld job comes out. I have tried a couple but the chassis from what i can tell get anealed from the heat and becomes very bendable. Let me know if anybody has a solution or a reversal procedure for this. i have 10 chassis that I can save from the scrap pile!!
The drilled chassis thing drives me nuts. How much weight did people think that they saved drilling that out? I saw a gold chassis on eBay the other day with a hole the size of a silver dollar in it, so I guess it could be worse!
Answered a FB marketplace ad for a different car, and wound up finding out about this and grabbed it. Still had a NiCad pack and the OG mechanical speed control. Looks to be all original, although it does have bearings instead of bushings. Chassis...

Wow,I've only ever wanted one since 1989!
A pretty good car came up locally and I was able to snatch it,complete with radio for the equivalent of US$50. :D
It has a broken front arm,but I'm hoping it won't be too tough to find one...

Any tire or rim for the F103 should fit. I don't think that changed between the 102 and 103
Howdy guys. New to the site, but not new to RC. Just came across this forum a couple days ago, and having been a big RC10 fan my whole life it seems lol I figured I should sign up and get involved in the goings on here. Just this past friday I made...

A very nice start. I love my B2 runner that I made the other day, but RC10resto is correct, B2 parts are getting harder and harder to find! So if you are racing this car, find extra front shock towers, switch your top plate for a B3 one and save the...
Hey guys a late nite eBay search netted me a complete DS. Aside from a cleaning it's gonna need tires. I really would like to stay with the factory wheels and not do the front end conversion. I've found front wheels on eBay but no rears and...
