Willy is gettin a Scorcher!!
Just ordered one off the bay and cant wait to get it. Already checkin out some alloy rims and bumpers and stuff.Heard the shocks are crap so any ideas for replacments would be great. Not sure what I am gonna do with it. Shelfer likely. I got alot of other cars to bash that are alot cheaper than these things. Plan on polishing the alloy parts but other then that i am not sure which way I am goin with the body. Will keep ya posted.

Re: Willy is gettin a Scorcher!!
Congrats on the purchase. The scorcher is a killer car. Keep in mind the don't handle for crap, their heavy and it takes one good roll to screw up the finish on the body.
So if you're going to run it here are my recommends. Bearings all around, coil overs and springs for the stock damper and an aluminum chassis. Other wise leave as is if you're going to shelf it. The parts will polish but not that great. The metal is equivalent to pot metal.

Re: Willy is gettin a Scorcher!!
Thanks, I dont think I will be runnin this car.I owned a bunch of VW Bugs growin up and this is gonna take me back.Been checkin out alloy wheels and wheel covers on ebay.Rims are twice the cost but well worth it by the looks of it.Tryin to find all the alloy parts available. I really like the paint job on the 4WD Scorcher in your showroom. That thing is stunning. Wish I had the skills to paint like that.

Congrats! I just got one myself and am looking forward to building it. It will be on a shelf next to my Re-Re Frog and HotShot along with my two(Original) Wild Willys.
