I have the front lowering kit. I can't seem to get it to fit according to the directions above. Is this kit for the short A-arms or the long A-arms? any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks Tony

There was actually a kit made for each style of front arm, so you may have the wrong one. I've had a few front arm pieces that were sanded and cut to fit the different style arms.

Is the McAllister lowering kit nylon or plastic? I’d like to dye it black, but it looks to be more like plastic. Will it take dye? I fear not…

LTO_DAVE, can you give us more info on those hinge pin retaing clips on the second picture? do they require grooves in the shafts?

They are from Pure-Tech and mount in the grooves just like regular c-clips. They are slightly thicker, but work...

What is so special about a TPS chain drive?

I'd imagine that it is somewhat rare to find these days and/or it was an effective little unit bitd. Or it might just hold a special value with certain folks for one reason or...

guys, what the hell am i doing wrong here?

maybe the answer is obvious... but to me there really isnt any other way it will work, and its anything but a lowering kit.

Actually, check to make sure that both pairs of shocks are the same length. I seem to remember the fronts being shorter than that...
