I watched this over in the RCU forums, and thought you guys might get a kick out of it. Check what the kids are playing with at the begining.

That was my favorite part of the movie :D
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.

How do you guys find a list of all those old RC10 pdfs? Everytime I look, I cannot find them. Must not be that computer savy.

I'd guess terry.sc archived that himself. I've never found that stuff either. Everytime someone posts one of those pdfs I archive it.

thanks terry.sc! 8)

Yeah, but the info is still on the AE server. I just to look at a raw list of the files on the server. Sometimes it will let you and sometimes it won't, at least I am not web-savy enough to figure it out.

I really think it's a Nitro in the movie, and I also think the pictures of the Vette Terrysc. posted are from a replica...

From what I can remember, RCCA did an article on it after the movie came out. From memory, it indeed was a electric car and not nitro. I recall that the first shoot they did with it, Halsey smoked the 1:1 car and beat it down to the bottom of the hill. They told him to slow it down and shot it again. I am sure someone can scan that article and post it. My memory is not that good to tell you the month and year it came out.

I knew it was there previously, so did a quick search on google for 'rc10 dead pool'. The trick is remembering it was there in the first place.

Most of the uncategorised documents are on this page http://www.teamassociated.com/shusting/CatalogHub/manuals/manuals_instructions.htm
Includes pictures of the box cover RC10.

The car is definitely the one used by Jay Halsey in the film and yes it was faster than Clint Eastwoods car. I'll find the article and put it up, no pictures in it though.

Couldn't be nitro as they didn't make anything that would fit under a Parma Corvette body back then, nor anything that could reverse.
