If you had to choose

Post by esaresky75 »

I know these two names are mentioned on the forms but looking for others experience on which is better. It will be for a Turbo Rocky shelf queen. Team Blue Groove or Marwankw?

By reputation, Marwan.

TBG has improving quality but has a history of easily damaged shells, some of poor detail.

Others can chime in.

I have two of Marwan's bodies both top quality, never had a TBG one so no comment on them.

I have purchased from both Marwan and TBG, and I can say that the quality is equal god. But Marwan has a body/decal combo that is good!
Cheers

I am going to do a review of all the bodies out there (mine, marwan, TBG, Kamtec, Brandon, CobraKen), and just so you don't think it's biased, after I get done I will invite any else to perfrom the comparison and post accordingly to see if they agree (I will send the bodies to that person for the review.... of which I will only ask for a couple of them back, you can keep mine as a reward for the effort).

Also, what Scr8p and Charlie (Reg) mentioned http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=20668 is TRUE, I can prove it. Now, I don't know if he knew it when he poured it (not accusing anyone of that). Someone could have provided it to him then told him it was original when it was not. FACT is he used one of mine, voluntary or involuntary.

Just to level the playing field, all repros will be one or the other (under or over), unless you have the original mold...... nothing you can do about that. Also, this is how I have proof TBG used one of mine.

These will be spot on (original size): http://www.rc10talk.com/viewforum.php?f=61

These will not be original size: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewforum.php?f=59
