x2 on the I suck at painting. I will probably do some of the Protech's with the straight nets, but as for my sidewinders and wavy net bodies I think they look just fine unmolested for now.

i have a few reasons that my shell's wait a long time for paint:

1. i like to build but hate to paint
2. i have to paint in my non-heated garage so all my winter projects are waiting for paint
3. i have a tendency to start a new build before the last build got paint
4. i hate painting
5. i hate painting
6. the local guy who paints got a better job and doesn't have time to paint.
