I can't find any reference to it in any manual I have or even any pricelists.
But I have a package sitting in front of me right now.
It is the old blue, red and yellow tag.
Thinking it might be an early JRX2 production part like the a3011 thrust bearing. Maybe they decided the screws didn't have enough length to them.
All other lengths of flat head used are 3/8" and 1/2".

Adding it to my Extreme Parts List I guess. May have to leave it unknown on the parts compatibility list.

Didn't the early battery cups on the X2 and XT use the short screws?

So I was looking around at making a custom order for a screw set. I remember a while back asking about screws in another thread because they werent fitting properly. well I finally figured it out. Older sets had a 100 degree flat head vs an 80...

If it's an aluminum 8-32 screw in an rc application it's almost always 100 degree unless it's metric , then it's 90. If it is steel there is a good likelihood it's 82 degree. You won't find 100 degree in black oxide easily, sometimes in stainless....

I'm looking to replace the flat head screws on the bottom of my B4.1 with phillips head flat heads. Anyone know what degree the flat heads are (82 or 100)?

There was a post some time ago where someone made there own set of aluminum wheels and some members were wanting duplicates made for there own use. Anybody remember who made them or even better have the link to the post? Anybody get a set?

for anybody that doesn't have access to a lathe this is the next best thing for polishing your aluminum wheels by use of a drill press I bought it for my Harley and saw that it also would work well with rc wheels

anodizing makes the aluminum surface much stronger,plus you can get some color.
hard anodizing like on the traxxas bigbores and the better rc10 shocks can typically only be dyed black or dark green due to the denser pore size.
