Novak Digi Peak Plus charge Nimh??

I have a couple of old Novak Digi Peak Plus chargers and I want to charge some Nimh 2100 mah battery packs.

My question is, will these chargers do the job and how do I go about setting them up to to charge?

Set the Delta peak to the lowest setting.

I would charge at 3 amps to start of with. If It false peaks bring the amps down.

The pack should be just warm.

When setting the amp rate on my peak charger for nimh packs, I've always used the mah/1000 rule to set the amp rate on the charger. Example: 3000mah/1000 = 3amp.

I've recently read that it's safe to charge at twice the base rate, meaning...

Most of my older Peak Performance are Yokomo can & endbell, although one is Yok can and Air Supply endbell. But I have one PP motor that is Trinity Epic based. Both of those are from a former PP sponsored racer so I don't think there's been too much...

I’ve searched and searched and am still very confused. I’m running an RC10B. Currently super stock brushed motor. Once it’s pretty much worn out I’ll be going to an equivalent brushless motor and controller. I’m about to buy my first LiPo batteries....

You can always charge at the 1c capacity of the battery...5A for 5000, 3.2A for 3200, etc. That being said, most newer, better quality packs you can charge at 2c no problem. A friend of mine has been charging at 4c because he is impatient :mrgreen:...

I just updated my charger with one capable of charging LIPO's and charging Ni-Mh's at up to 5 amps.

if ur bashin around and not racing, you may want to look into the a123 nano's from maxamps 3s config 9.9 is pretty sweet and ya can abuse those things to no end and they charge in about 15 minutes
