What to do: update the Rc10t3 or buy a Losi XXX SCB

Post by WestTxRc »

I've been looking at the Losi XXX Scb and I'm liking what I see.
Been debating on whether or not to Update my current Factory Team T3
to Brushless and new electronics or Buy a new XXX Sbc.

Is it worth going brushless on a T3 and lipo's because i see a lot of video's of
stripped gears, and to much power just flipping the truck backwards.

I'm just getting started and want to race. Can you race the Buggys with the short course trucks or is there a different division for the buggy's.

If I get the Sbc I'm still going to race the t3 also because I love rc10's

Yep, that's the way the rest of us here do it, just get more than one.

You can run brushless in pretty much anything, just make sure your gearing is reasonable, nothing is binding, etc.

I love my XXX-SCB but the stock motor doesn't last to long. We run them with 17.5 brushless here with the SCT's.

WestTx, I don't know how much different, If at all the SCB is from the SCT. I have a SCT and I don't like it. It handles like crap, I would've been better off with the SC10 I think. I'd upgrade your T3, You don't need the most powerful brushless setup that is made. Wheelies are fun, but do you really need that much power on the track? I'd try a 13.5 motor.
