AE shock lengths ??? List ???

Anybody have any info on old and new AE shocks, I'm looking compile a list with usable info for others to use.

I would think it would be good info to have recorded for people building somewhat custom cars.

If you think this is a good idea i will edit this post with a running list. Here is a example of what id like to have.

AE Front Shock (Short Stroke)
Part Number 6449
Extended Length: 2.80" (71.28mm)
Compressed Length: 2.26" (57.31mm)
Mounting Length: 2.45" (62.35mm)
Shaft Diameter: .12" (3.09mm)
Bore: .40" (10.27mm)
Stroke: .54" (13.72mm)

Can anyone tell me the approx. lengths from eye to eye of these shocks?

Also is it really true that these fit all the following traxxas models - i.e. are the stock shocks of all these models literally identical? Saw this list on an ebay posting....

Yes, all those cars really use the same length shocks.
The fronts are roughly 3.5 and the rears are 4 .

Can someone school me in the different shock lengths and what cars they were for? .71, .89, ???? I'm doing a Siebenslammer and wondering which front shock/mount combo I should be looking at. I have a pair of stock B3 front shocks already, but not...

If you have the standard rc10 shock towers, then .71 front shock bodies and .71 shafts are stock sizes. B3 shocks are .89 bodies and .71 shafts. You might not get the right amount up travel unless you've got a taller front tower. For the rear, 1.32...

So I have this assortment of shock bodies and shafts that I have forgotten what they came off of. Is there any charts that floating around that have measurements and their equivalents i.e. a shock body 1.5 long = 1.32 AE Shock? Same for the shafts.

For shock bodies measure them on the insides. From the bottom of the shock inside to the top of the threads on the opening will be close to the shock stroke length.

Measure shafts from the bottom c-clip groove to the top of the taper on the...

Can anyone list the shock lengths of built RC10DS shocks in CM or inches? From center mounting to center mounting point. I'm looking to work on a project and I'm not 100% sure I'll go the actual DS shocks route.

What were the lengths of the stock front and rear shocks on a early gold pan rc10. My shocks are badly scratched and wore and need replacing but I would like to keep the stock shocktowers.

Can anyone tell me what the shock lengths are on the Bigwig, front and rear: center to center mounting hole lengths please?

I believe they used the CVA shorts in the front and longs on the rear. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The rears are 1.32 but what are the fronts...Just want to be able to order the correct ones...If i am wrong about the rear lengths please let me know...It is for my early light gold chassis car...
