Anodized Bumper
Anodized Bumper
Does anyone know where I can find an anodized bumper in blue for the 10T/10T2/GT? I saw one somewhere but can't remember were I found it.
RC 10T
Perhaps you saw an RPM for RC-10, they can be had in blue or black, they are dyed nylon. ANODIZED is done to metal, you could try search for Alumimium bumper on ebay. GPM and others make all kinds of stuff for RC10s & 10t. Hope this helps, lmk, ttyl, GRIZZLY
IT'S BEEN A LONG, HARD ROAD. I HAVE RISEN FROM THE ASHES.

If you are thinking of a blue anodized noseplate, this was discussed:

Looks like justinspeed79 got it...

There used to be some aluminum front bumpers available on ebay for the GT, not sure if there are still any on there. Hardcore Racing and New Era may still have them.

better quality than that gpm stuff imo. if they don't have it any more, i have two of them in silver. you would just have to anodize it blue
btw: this is one nice forum, great cars, great guys that know to appreciate good old times of rc and the mighty rc10. some of you may know me from rc10gthobby. i'll introduce myself later on. gotta get me some sleep now. regards volker
btw this is one of my rigs. gonna get a new camera in september, so pics will follow later on.

Nice use of the Proline 7055 tires on HPI wheels.

There's a few GT owners here, welcome to the forum.

thank you
to be honest these front wheels came with a rc10t2 i bought off of epay.
i thought they were hpi front rims for that narrow 2.2" tires...when it arrived i was pretty disappointed the guy who had owned it had used super-glue to mount them on the 2" rims. doesn't look good at all at a closer look. i was lucky though to find a new set of these hpi black spoke rims for my rc10. hpi offers thousands of wheels for the savage or touring cars. i assume 99% of all touring car owners don't care of the looks of their rigs, it's all about performance. but they don't make these nice rims anymore
crazy. maybe we should ask them to re-release them...would be cool. those guys at hpi usually have agood feeling for the market and what is going on. i think
with a vintage line of rc10 rims and tires they could earn a quick buck. at least they would earn as much with that as with a firestorm that nobody wants and nobody buys...
tamiya got it. the good old frog was out of stock three times with tower, recently managed to get one...i would like to know how many of these re-release frogs they sold to all of us rc nuts that wanted one so bad in the eighties...i don't think they got into the reds with their re-release stuff. but i could also be wrong.
