A&L bellcranks would be a given as i'm 99.9% sure it came out before the chassis kit.

These came out in the short arm period, but Andy's wide arms would work.

I used the short arms and aluminum bellcrank on mine. I just felt the short arms fit the look of the car better being it is an older conversion. Then again if you plan on running it, wider may be better.

Sorry for kinda derailing your post nvx but does anyone remember that A&L trailing arm build that had the front aluminum arms on it? I can't find it anywhere and I think it was due to the fact it wasn't revolving around the a&l build. Its been a long time since I have seen it and if I think it was around a year ago it more than likely was longer...

i kinda remember the car todd is talking about, i wouldn't know where to start looking for it. i don't recall a "build thread" with them being used.

i used white andy's arms on the one i built. mainly because i wanted to use a lot of aftermarket stuff.

i believe i put an a&l bellcrank in it shortly before i sold it.

Now that you mention it I don't know if it was a build thread but some pictures thrown in to show some detail or suggestions like you did there scr8p. I spent a couple hours off and on looking for it last night but just can't seem to find it. I believe it had some alloy T&A wheels too which set it off like yours did scr8p. I always have liked the A&L builds.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool myself. I was going to try to do something along those lines but let my A&L chassis kit go awhile ago for one of those trade deals I couldn't refuse. I was going to suggest the semi-polished front arms to balance it out a little. IIRC they were shortys too. Its kind of a slight touch like with scr8p's build and the alloy jellybean covers that sets these builds apart making them one of my alltime favorites. Well if I find it I'll drop you a link...

I can't say I remember that one either. Those look to be the front arms though. The one I was thinkin of had the whole chassis kit like nvx's. I'll give it another shot tonight when the kid heads to bed...

Ok i have a question, I found this A&L kit on eBay and it has some fiberglass spacers under the swing arm mounts? What is this for and why does my kit not include them? Are they only with the graphite chassis kit?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIP-Vintage-A-L-RC10-trailing-arm-chassis-extras-A-L-bellcranks-front-tower-/290667168238?pt=Radio_Control_Vehicles&hash=item43ad1d01ee

I also noticed scr8p's car does not have the spacers.
