What is this thing?

Post by huminski »

This has been bouncing around in the bottom of my toolbox for a long time now. No idea what it is. My best guess is it is designed to check the size of tires. Seems to fit 10 scale and have an adapter for 12 scale. Can anyone confirm that I'm right or tell me what it actually is?

I think its for gluing tires. You put that piece with the hole in it on top and push down it should push the tire down to spread the bead a little bit for access to glue it. Could be wrong on it though...

Looks like you guys might be on to something. A quick search turn up this page, looks like rpm makes something similar.

Thats what it is, made for gluing tires. I tried one, but rubber bands worked better, lol
