Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows how much thinner to paint should I use with pactra paint.
I know if I search long enough I'll find My answer on this forum but today is a perfect day for me to paint and its going by fast.
I can also feel a honey-doo dveloping so I need to start being to busy for that.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks, J.R.
iam kinda thinking about selling off a bunch of cars/trucks in my collection and just keep the rare cool stuff i have, but every time i sell something i always find a use for it later  plus i have had so many nonpayers lately :(
I'm getting ready to airbrush a new Pro-Line Jeep JK body for my crawler, and I got a bottle of Faskoat to back the Fasblack since it will be getting wet and muddy.
Should I thin the Faskoat or just shoot it straight from the bottle? If...

Thanks for the help!
I sprayed the Fasblack and let it dry for about two days before peeling off the rear window masks and spraying the Fastint, which is the worst paint ever invented! It fisheyed, puddled and did everything but go on the way I...
I can't find a thread about this although I thought I read it somewhere, but can you paint a body using Parma Faskolor paints and Pactra paint? If so is there a certain process to doing it?

fascolor is water based is why it breaks down in water. its also easly mixed with water or other additives to reduce the paint and make it easier to spray. you should allways back fascolor if possible. the pactra is more like your automotive paint...
I was rooting around Ultimate Hobbies yesterday and found a can of Pactra paint that flips colors. They've probably been around for a while but this is the first time I've seen them. Anyways, so i got a can to try out but of course they don't have...

I have had several bad experiences with old pactra paint cans. It appears they leak gas. Because of the lower pressure they then sputter rather than produce a fine spray. Make sure you try the can before getting near the lexan
Has anyone here used Pactra paints in conjuction with Faskolor paints? The two brands each have ideal colors that the other doesn't have, and if it's possible, I'd combine them (not mix them, of course--just paint adjacent areas of a body with...

I have another question along these lines. Has anyone done the FasGlitter/FasKoat technique, then instead of overspraying with a primary color of FasKolor, using Pactra instead? The final color I want to use by Pactra is a nicer shade than...
Anyone know the closest spray can Big Brute Yellow? Big Brute is my next project.

That one combined with various NIP and another nice roller I can probably come up with 3 Brutes at this point but once I build the one I want I will...

I'm in the middle of painting a new shell for my Savage. How translucent will Candy Blue be? What I mean is, should you still be able to see thru it when you back it up with white? thanks

i don't think that shade looks bad at all.
i am a big fan of candy blue, but i've always backed it with silver. i have considered using gold to back the candy blue but have never gotten around to it.
i never considered backing it with white but i...
