after looking at kenooze's bitchen 1993 worlds kinwald replica thread i started scratching my head a bit because i have here in front of me a black tub buggy that has alot of custom mill work to it. i recently picked up a rubber maid tote full of old rc stuff from the house sitters boyfriend who noticed i hoard rc10 stuff and we started talking and he said he would bring it over. $100 later i was in possesion of said box of stuff which garnered me 2 complete black tub stealth rollers,an old hough looking chassied roller, and a 90% complete T2 and misc. parts and a few non rc10 buggies and a pan car. with all that said ive been taking apart the hough chassied car for parts that are good since the chassis is rough and ive had worlds car on my mind so i start looking at parts and what to look for and this buggy has alot of mill work. now the 1993 kinwald world car is a piece of r/c history but was it common to clone features because this has alot of those features and some other really cool ones. let me know what you think.
do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?
its gonna be a runner for sure...just figured i would show you guys and maybe question the mill work since ive only seen the style and alot of the work on the kinwald worlds car. im gonna do a few more mods on my own to get it closer to the kinwald car because the rear bulkhead idea looks nice and the one that is om this car at the moment looks like a dog got ahold of it. the sad think is the guy i got the stuff from i guess thought he would be making stuff look cooler by painting some parts with model car brush paints...instead i have parts that are good that have paint flaking off them and look like a 5 year old was finger painting an rc10 at any rate this car plus the other one will be getting alot of nice parts to make them complete and i have a big box coming from canada with alot of new white parts and alot of used but great condition parts so i can complete some of the madness that litters my work table

I see that is an A&L rear tower, cant really tell if the front is A&L also. Looks like a great base for a runner. Clean it up and toss some gear in it, put some laps in.

the front tower may be stock cause ive seen the tower before on ebay and its associated but it is the same thickness and material as the rear tower...the rear tower ive never seen before....good idea to take it off the car and save it for a shelf queen? i plan to use the car and im sure broken towers are in the future.
