RC10T Cliff Lett replica

Post by Brandon G »

Here are a few shots of my "me too" Cliff Lett replica.

I have all the electronics to replicate what he had published in RCCA, just need some time to install. Moo cow paint job will be sprayed on the original RC10T body (not a repop).

If anybody could help me out with some RCPS titanium turnbuckles, I would greatly appreciate it! I may need some help with a few decals as well, but I won't know for sure what I need till I get done with the paint. I also need a set of universal driveshafts to make it a little more period correct. I threw the CVD's on there sos I could bolt some wheels on it. :D

I'll post more pics as progress is made. Another one I have had in the works for some time now.....

Enjoy the pics!

It's a repowder of a new chassis. I had it done a long time ago when Trehugger was getting them done. A very nice finish.

Chassis is a "C" stamp. He asked me to label the chassis somehow so it didn't get mixed up with any of the other chassis he was getting done at the time. So I went an extra step. I found a set of letter stamps at work that match the size of the "C" and stamped an "L" right next to it. Almost looks factory. :D

Unfortunately you cant see it unless you have the tranny removed...

Looks awesome so far, well done!

Those RCPS turnbuckles are hard to find... I've yet to come across any on eBay... :(

Good luck!

there have been some on ebay lately, actually. But you have to look hard to find them. Mikea96 was looking for the buggy ones, and eventually got a set through piece-meal acquisition. They tend to be in mixed lots, or you have to buy a whole truck just to get them.
