Hello all,
I was talking with Avid R/C, and they said they may consider selling some new bearing sizes with rubber seals if there was enough interest. I specifically asked them about 1/4 x 3/8 flanged and 3/16 x 5/16 flanged bearings, used as wheel bearings and inside the 6 gear transmission. I have no idea how big the market for those is, but I know I would like to be able to run in mud without worrying about exploding bearings or short bearing life. If anyone else feels the same way, please vote yes.

I've wanted this for a while. I drive in dirty environments, and I go through a lot of Rc10 wheel bearings- I mostly blow 1/4 x 3/8 rear bearings, but I also go through 3/16 x 5/16 fronts. As rubber sealed options were pricey, I resorted...

Just found a seller on ebay that has a full set for a 10t . Asking 17.50 which includes shippjng. Any thought on the rubber sealed or price?

Just followed the link onthe revolution bearings .. love the idea of being able to take out the rubber side n put metal in its place if you want.

I agree, I think I will give them a shot.

any reason to use one or the other? I usually buy the rubber sealed from avid but since I need to get some hardware from mcmaster and all I saw from them was metal sealed ones.

Personally, I have tried both and found that when you are driving there is no discernible difference. However, when you are driving it in, snow, mud, dirt, gravel like I have, the rubber sealed bearings make a huge difference in the wheels. Where...

Hey guys,

So i am pretty much done rebuilding my Jrx2...but i have a nice crunchy sound from the bearings on the rear end...I want to grab some avid's but i don't know the complete size...Avid asks for 3 dimensions... I know they are 8mm x 14mm,...

I am trying to resurrect an old junior t. I have no manuals and would like to know what size bearings would go in the transmission. I would like to replace all bushings with bearings. If anyone can be of assistance I would appreciate it.

New to the forum and trying to get my old rc10 in good shape. I have read alot of stuff on here and love the builds. I think it's a 1992 rc10ce. Gold tub white plastics. I'll get pics up.
