1:1 car help.
Ok guys. I'm on the hunt for a very hard to find part. 1984 toyota supra that i'm fixing for a friend, he's the origonal owner and the car only has about 15k on it. He had someone else put a new fuel tank on it and for who knows what reason the guy tossed out the fuel sender for the gas guage.
So what i need is the sender for the guage and it has to be for a digital dash, the analogue dash sender is different. The digital dash cars are very very hard to find in north america, and i've been told that they are much more common in other countrys especially australia where apparently all supras where digi dash.
I'm hoping one of the guys from this forum that lives abroad can point me in the right direction.
I hate to say it but it almost doesent matter what it costs, he wants the car origonal because of the low milage. if someone could help me track one down they would of course be componsated for there time as well as the parts.

You might want to check to see if another model shares the same part too, I know the mk3 supra shares some parts with certain years of Cressida, I think the mk2 supra does too but I'm not sure if the Cressida has a digital or analog dashillshou wrote:Ok guys. I believe the celica and supra share parts. you might want to check on the tuner sites.

Yea, the celica and the supra are basically the same thing in 84. In fact the celica, supra and the ae86 corolla all use the same instrument cluster.
I've tried other forums but most guys are into the newer mk3 and mk4 supras. Plus the digi dash cars are pretty scarse.....

Wow, I would love to have an 84 Supra. That was my favourite car of the 80's
