Custom painted touring body, code name: "Malificent"

Post by UltraHIVE »

Hey guys, I got this body with a vintage RC10L, unpainted and without the outer protective film, pretty beat up from shelf wear. One night after a few drinks, I came up with a paint layout, based on another artists flames found online. Not sure who the creator of the flames are, but they're great and cheers to you.

I wanted something dark looking and kinda evil... although my character personally is more towards a Boondock Saint 8) ha! Anyway, I was able to get a bowling ball style effect with the purple / blue color. Its not finished yet, still need to outline and paint the windows, but check it out for now...

After the masking...

are those tittties?

nothing was intentional. with diecut vinyl flame masks, you always get extra designs out of the initial idea. i wish i had actually designed this intentionally. in fact, i was going to go with USA themed colors at first, until I saw the trailer for the movie and realized I had the same shape recurring, as the head piece AJ wears in the film. thats when I changed colors. im not a fan of the movie, or characters, still havent seen it either. I just figured it would look bada$$.
