How to cut and drill chassis for RPM kit?

Hello, can someone explain me precisely how to cut and drill a team car chassis to fit properly the RPM kit? has someone a template?

I'm talking about this kit:

this is what you'll need.

I took a "Stealth Ready" Chassis and bolted it to the "6-Gear" Chassis, bottom to bottom, and drilled it that way. Seems to have worked just fine. Or is there some reason that shouldnt/wouldnt work (I havent actually driven it yet)?

that template is to modify the rear of an rc10 chassis to use the worlds rear suspension.
