The tracks I run on are medium to large and host wide class ranges.

How's your driving? Sometimes slower is faster, if you know what I mean.
I find 8.5t brushless to be terrifyingly fast in a 2wd buggy, but I know many run them. I suspect that's close to the practical limit. If your esc has a throttle limit, you could always de-tune a fast motor that way. If not, you can limit with end point adjustment on your radio.

As the title says, I need a simple speed control to handle my vintage yokomo 14 turn motor. My Novak t1 keeps blowing it's fuse. Again, I have an extremely limited budget but I would still prefer something other than the cheap Chinese speed controls.

You may find a cheaper one on ebay. Possibly a better one if you catch a used one at teh right time.

i am having an issue with this setup. It is causing some radio interference and i am thinking it is mostly because if the high amperage draw of this motor? if i ease into the throttle and gently go up to full speed it works pretty flawless. If i get...

I'd like to install this in my optima mid but I'm at a loss to the turn limit for this speedo. Some people have been assuming it's only for 27t stock which I find a little hard to believe..can anyone help with some definitive info? Can't find...

I agree the numbers are confusing and don't tell the whole story, RPM isn't the best way to measure the actual power of a motor. I do know that I replaced a 23t brushed motor with a 17.5 brushless, and the power was similar. 10.5t may be stretching...

What would you go with? Also I was thinking sensorless for my first brushless.

But a fair priced well performing ESC with reverse lockout that can do both sensor or less is what I'd be looking to...

Just wanted to get a feel from you guys what you think the best overall gearing would be for a 17T and 19T mod motors? Im only really bashing the truck on asphalt and some dirt. I am using Stealth trans with B4 slipper. Let me know what you think....
