surprize!

Post by bscotti »

Just when I thought the "good deals" were getting few and far between on the 'bay ... took a chance on a decent condition stealth gold tub with a bunch of extra stuff. I could see what some was, but the pics were less than descriptive. Got it for a surprizing price and looky here ... lots of good stuff! All that red anodizing does a body good, not to mention the Robinson Racing mounts and the items not shown ... nearly perfect gold tub, perfect white suspension arms and more. Once I catalog what I have and compare it to my current inventory, I'll offer up the good stuff here. The front end is not something I've seen before. It is much wider than a standard gold nose plate. I'm thinking it was Hot Trick's version of a wide front suspension. Let me know what you think.

So, what good surprizes have you all found? There are too many stories of the crap we end up paying too much for. Good news for a change!

All red parts are Hot Trick, for sure, I would be intersested in buying your front A-arms since they are missing on mine... let me know, it's the only part missing on my RC10 Hot Trick...

well, I had sent you some pics last night but it doesn't look like they made it. I'll send them again tonight. The only flaw I found was a small scratch on the bottom of 1 arm.

Are the nylon parts of your car just dyed red? I sure hope they're not Hot Trick parts too! If not, it looks like all I need is a chassis to build up a complete car! Cool beans!

the nylon parts on my car are of course stock parts that were dyed, I think Hot Trick never made nylon parts for the RC10... you'll also need the rear red shock tower (one NIP was sold on Ebay last week for 28,50 USD) and I'm still searching for the red Hot Trick steering to make my car really complete... anyone can help me :?:

The wide noseplate and shock tower was part of what Hot Trick called the Wide Foot Front End Kit. Came out before the Andy's arms to widen out the front end.

Yep, that's why I would like to change said Andy's front A-arms for red anodized Hot Trick ones... in addition, the buggy will then only miss the Hot Trick steering rack, which I'm still searching for

huh, sounds like I really got a good deal. I've seen the steering setup recently (after I snagged one myself).
