Delta 1/10 Scale Villian Kit
I 've had this one for a long time. I think there was a IFS option but I am not sure.

I don't know these are Internet pictures I had saved, probably was some downside to the IFS just really cool engineering exercise. Delta did the 1/12 Super Phaser and Associated had their version of the 1/12th RC12i mono-shock front end upgrade that really is cool but not practical.tamiya wrote:whoa IFS is neat, like a scaled down mini Eagle!
did it weigh too much to be any nett benefit?

Re: Delta 1/10 Scale Villian Kit
we dabbled with ABC Super Hero X1 back in 1982... yeah "full suspension" didn't offer enough benefit to negate its weight & space costs in a tiny little 1/12th
Same era campaigning Delta Super-Js... tried red Eagle & red PB Alpha. With larger gassers & higher track speeds, suspension did help more but the 2 red cars were let down by fragile plastics. Not long after we moved over to Serpent Quattros... these were much tougher & ran rings around pan cars
heck the early Quattros didn't even use shockers!
