Gotta love the Kyosho Icarus

Post by Asso_man! »

This is an ad from the French Kyosho importer, bad performing car, but great rear bump(er) "tous tes reins" is actually a play on words: phonetically, it means "all terrain" and literally "all your waist", pretty darn sexy for the kids back in '85, huh?

Why do I live in stuffy England where we don't have ads like this?

We're not quite that risque here in the States, but the Acer girls come close.

They've really improved since the first Acer chick. Way to give the people what they want. My favorite part of all of it is that after years of beating down that they're a family mag, RC Car Action used those ads. You may not have many pin up girls in the print section, but the advertising has plenty.

Now that I think about it, what is it with the ball bearing companies (if you notice, the Debbie ad was for bearing lubes). He said "balls"
