Saw this article in the January 2017 issue of RC World, it looks like the car is from the 1994 Winter Champs.

Always interesting to me after that crazy 1991 custom car he essentially went back to regular old RC10 for all intents and purposes. Then recently I watched the 1991 Gene Hustings video and he said they brought it back and tested it against the regular RC10 and it was no faster. But I digress.
