Today's build
Today's build
Picked this one up today. This is my brother's original RC10 from the 80's. It started life as an original "A" stamped gold pan, but he modified it with the long arms and longer shocks in the front along with new arms in the rear. After sitting for more that 25 years he decided to part with it. When I picked it up it had decades of dust, no drive shafts, no rear shocks, no rear wheels, missing misc pieces, and no electrics. I have a fair amount of spares so I made it an afternoon project to clean, repair, and upgrade. New stuff includes brush-less 17.5 motor and esc, 2.2 wheels and tires, 2.4 gig radio, and I swapped the original 6 gear for one, with bearings, I had in stock.
Re: Today's build
I also picked up this very sad looking Losi which I have no idea what to do with. This one is missing far too much to rebuild.

Pic position is strange. Not sure why my brother wanted to get rid of it, but I may try to return it to him since it works now,. Or, I may keep it for his kid.

Re: Today's build
I thought he had more of the losi parts, but I guess they get lost over time. No transmission, motor plate, drive shafts, rear wheels, body, and one control arm and drive knuckle. I "could" rebuild it, but not going to put the $$$ in to it. If he finds some of the major pieces then I might take it on.

Re: Today's build
That losi definitely looks a bit sad, looks to be the bones of a pro with some randomness on it, rare to see one with a mechanical fire starter on it
I could donate some parts for it if you want.
