Question 2 speed transmission (Landmax 2).

I would like to install 2 speed transmission on Kyosho Landmax 2.
It has GS21R engine.

I can see GTW20V is no longer on market.

I don't know anything about this, Is it compability to use: Kyosho IGW008B 2-Speed Trans Mission Set (Shoe Type) Inferno GT Inferno GT2?

Do you have any suggestions what i can use? Do i need more parts to make it worK?

Please explain how a 2 speed transmission works.
I see this kit and it looks like there is a constant mesh between both sets of pinion/spur gears.
I would imagine there is more to it than meets the eye.

so i scored my second kyosho TF 2 it came on sat the car was new built and never run and the mountain of spares i got with it i replaced everything on my runner apart from the trans front and rear it also came with a two speed after reading this...

hello! i found this old 2 speed trans. kit while digging thru old parts box, can anyone help identify what car it was made for? I am sure it is for Associated cars but I cannot figure out which model.

Anyone have any documentation on yokomo YR4 2 speed transmission? I picked one up with a car as extra parts in the deal, but it's completely in pieces, and I'd like to at least know how it goes all back together.

I'll have to check, I no longer have the 2 speed, and I can't recall if I ever saw an exploded diagram. It was very straightforward once I put all the parts together. I think I did see something regarding setting the shift points.

I have Kyosho Landmax 2, gonna change from a OS 8 glow plug to OS R5 glow plug.
Which nitro percentage do you recommend? I have to lean the engine very very much under the limit to get motor to pull properly!
Outside temperature is about 68...

I ordered some AE silicon differntal gear grease... when I got it it said NOT FOR STEALTH TRANSMISSION????

This was the whole reason I purchased it....
What's wrong with it? I just waited a week to rebuild the tranny..

I have an older rc10, appears to have an aftermarket graphite chassis, older 6 gears trans. My question is about the idler, is there a steel one (pair) available? Also, what is the pitch on this gear? It has 22 teeth, seems to be around 36P or .7mod...

I picked up a DS the other day and the transmission has me perplexed. There is no slipper at all. I would try to explain it but pictures are always better. This is how it sat on the car. Minus the motor plate obviously.

This is just the gear...

Almost all on road cars do not run slippers. They don't run the abuse of jumps and such. So they for years have not run one.
