Bodies?

Post by Bikerbob »

What ended up happening about someone making some new bodies?

Did anyone ever find out what happened to Vans Invent? and get those moulds from him?

I need a body for my Jrxpro-Se.. anyone know something from anything else that will fit it well?

Thanks

james

Hey James,

A Losi XXL #8042?? will fit pretty much perfectly, just go a bit lower with the cutlines and adjust the front a little..

A normal XX is too narrow sadly so is no use..

Pics of mine to follow

That is the short body.... Losi doesn't make the XXL any longer. Also, there was recent post. The rear shock tower height of the JRX2 family is taller than the XX family, so you will have to lower the body a bit to close up the gap between the body and the chassis. That means that you will have cut the back of the body off..... but it does fit well for the most part.

No necessarily true Jay...

if you cut the cut lines lower on the XXL, it will fit, plus the SE rear tower is cut out quite a lot on the top edge, this coupled with the fact that the XXL shell is quite narrow over the tower means it will fit. I will take a pic once I charge up my camera and show you guys.

The XX 8008 will not easily fit though.

Not so long ago Horizon UK had XXL shells in stock, but they may not be the case now..

:D

I was basing my info off a standard XX body that was already cut. When I tried to fit it, that is what I noticed.

The XX body does fit the RPM ultra chassis like a glove though :)
