A Very Obscure Question About an Old BRP Part

Hello All,

I have this part, made by BRP- it is from 1984 and is called a Vicfor Concept I Roll Bar- Part #1004

Anybody heard of such a thing? From the instructions, I am gathering that it is an onroad pan car of sorts, but other than that, I am clueless.

Any help would be appreciated.

OK, back in the late 80's, early 90's I was racing 2wd electric offroad in San Diego. We mostly ran at the Stadium, El Cajon, and Rancho Bernardo. There were 2 guys selling a laydown front shock conversion for the tub car. I honestly can't remember...

Update on this one...

I got a hold of a 1989 RCCA, and the name of the company was Slam Dunk.

They made the laydown front end, and a bearing supported steering bellcrank.

Anybody got one of these?

If you guy hadn't noticed yet, my shtick is building associated pan cars from scratch. I know I've probably pay'd 10 times the original price for a kit, but its my therapy.

Anyway, I've just about kited my next build, but I'm lacking just one part....

We broke the Rear Suspension mount (Associated Part #6360) that the rear hinge pin goes through that attaches the a-arm to the chassis....

got this stuff in a lot. the oldest 12 scaler I have owned was a 12l3.
The niftech hub says it is for 12lw and revolver12, but it looks much different from the trinity packaged one which is for the revolver12, but has no holes to bolt a wheel on....

thats right early pancar didnt bolt the right diff side wheel the axle was longer and the nut came on the outsid of that wheel to hold it together.

I am building a team car and would like to know if anyone knows the part numbers to use the modern factory team tie rods. There is so many, i dont want to waist money trying. Has anyone used these?
