Jrx shock cap orings

Post by JRxJoe »

Anyone know where I can find the really thin orings used inside the shock cap? I searched all over last night and found nothing. I think it’s same size for all Jrx models.

I came across this kit but wasn’t sure if it included the oring. Any help?

Also found this kit to fix a couple stripped spring clamps. Hope it works.

LOSA5015 is the double o-ring kit for the LXT ...XXT ...XXXT shocks.

LOSA5006 is the JRXT shock cap to body o-ring kit.

LOSA5023 is collars for the LXT ...XXT ...XXXT shocks but if your shock bodies are 12.5mm you'll be fine.

Thanks. Are you suggesting I get the A5006 kit and just use the o rings from it? Truthfully that’s all I need. I am thinking an alternative might be a thin band of Teflon tape? The orings are very very small in their thickness

5006 is the part number from the JRxT kit... guurgled the part number and... the 22T shares the part number... didn't see that coming. No, 22T o-rings won't fit.

But BattleTrak hit the nail on the head. 👍

Looks like those o rings are really hard to find now. Crazy prices for what remains. Maybe I’ll just use teflon tape

The o-rings are 12.0mm O.D. 10.4mm I.D. & .8mm thick so... a 12mm x 1mm o-ring will work... $3 a pack shipped beats messing with teflon tape.

Appreciate the dimensions. At the $5 for 50 price on Amazon, my great grandkids would have replacements. Thanks for the voice of reason.
